About the Role

We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established electrical distribution business in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering excellent service. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings (paid overtime)

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts

  • Generating new business and re-engaging inactive customers

  • Preparing and following up quotations

  • Promoting a wide range of products and services

  • Supporting customers by phone, email, and at the trade counter

  • Working closely with colleagues to achieve branch sales targets

  • Building relationships with contractors, commercial clients, and trade customers

 

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in internal sales, account management, trade counter sales, or a similar

  • Previous exposure to electrical wholesale, builders' merchants, plumbing & heating, industrial distribution, or a related trade sector

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales

  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment
